Destiny, they say

Is your guiding light.

It shapes your life

And takes you high.

It’s written, they say

That’s how it will be.

It unchangeable, you see.

So all you can do is pray,

And hope yours is blessed.

But who decides destiny?

Shouldn’t I have a say,

In what I do and may

Be one day?

Destiny, I think

Is a choice you make.

On which path you take

In the crossroads of life.

It’s a faith, a religion

A personal choice.

And change is a part

Of this unending path.

Opportunities enter and exit,

Seize yours and watch

As the path takes a turn,

For the better or worse.

It’s up to you.
